Law: Success Stories
I am extremely delighted to share the ‘big news’ of being placed at Echelon India, a culmination of the last five years’ constant evolution of learning, perseverance and seizing opportunities. Altogether, I had an amazing experience sitting through and securing this job during placement drive at Ech… elon India, although it was quite challenging at times. Emerson, the great thinker and writer said, “Life consists in what a man is thinking of all day.” If you think success, you create a climate in which success is probable. If you think failure, you set the stage for it. Looking forward to starting a new phase of life and my first professional stint. Beyond words can express, I shall always be thankful to my parents, The NorthCap University and members of faculty of School of Law who constantly motivated and supported me throughout my journey. But, being a s… tudent of The NorthCap University, I am gratified by the guidance and environment that helped me in every little step during my Engineering. I would like to specially thank the whole team of SPA for grooming me to be industry ready.
The job profile of AVL is technical and I even got an opportunity to go for training to Germany. This is all because of the patience and confidence that my family, my faculty and SPA developed in me. I owe it all to the institution and my family. I shall always seek their guidance and I know that they would always there for me in my future also. Read less
“Destiny played its dice when at a tender age of seven I was diagnosed with a muscle debilitating condition and my struggle started. In 2010 at the age of 14, when I was in the 8th Class, I got my motorized wheelchair and I was zooming around once again in my school compound along with my classmates… . With a 9.6 CGPA in class 10th and 80% in 12th and seven Scholar Badges under my belt with Blue Coat and Tie from DPS, Sushant Lok, Gurugram, I was ready for my JEE exam and the next phase of life out of the protected environment of the school. Scoring pretty well and getting admission calls from various institutes of repute, The NorthCap University was my pick for I got a branch of my choice and the accessibility to the whole campus.I must express my gratitude here because whatever little more was required for my accessibility on the campus, it was all constructed before my first day at NCU.With the support of my friends, teachers and staff, I have been lucky to complete two internships at Sapient. This has been the best experience of my life. The amount of involvement in work and weekend parties at Sapient made me feel so confident and ready for the next stage of life. Every budding young man feels excited and nervous at the same time at the mere thought of campus placement. Deloitte is a dream company for every fresher as it is considered to be one of the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms and the largest professional services network in the world by revenue and number of professionals. The dream of every BTech student is to secure a job through campus placement and this dream became a reality for me in the final year of my engineering when I got placed with Deloitte. SPA played a pivotal role in helping me secure this job. It all started off with participation in the CCTC compet… ition conducted by Deloitte in the third year of Engineering. It tests the fundamentals in the area of cyber security and data privacy. The competition consisted of three rounds – the initial two rounds were conducted in Delhi with the grand finale being hosted by Deloitte in Hyderabad. Through the almighty’s will I was able to win this competition which meant that during Deloitte’s placement drive I would be exempted from the interview and the GD round. But this still meant that I had to clear the personal interview which was a massive hurdle all by itself. SPA helped me hone my personal interview skills by conducting mock interviews on various occasions just to give a taste of what an actual corporate interview would be like. The suggestions, tips and tricks helped me answer all the interviewer’s questions correctly and precisely.
In conclusion, my placement experience was a blissful journey which I could not have completed had it not been for the valuable support of all my friends, teachers, family and definitely the School of Professional Attachment. Read more
I think it all comes down to really loving what you do. If you love what you do, you will succeed eventually. My passion for programming and computer science started in Class X when I learned C++. I instantly loved the practical aspect of it and the joy of creating something from scratch. When I joi… ned The NorthCap University, I learned many more languages, wrote many more programmes and grew, not only as a developer but as a person too. These last few years have been a great learning experience for me. The placement procedure was an emotional roller coaster ride. The first round was an aptitude test which wasn’t easy but I was able to crack it. A technical interview was scheduled on the following day. As soon as I got inside the interview room I felt confident in my skills and abilities. That reflected well in the interview as I was cleared for the HR interview as well. It was an emotional moment when I realized how proud of me my parents, friends and teachers would be. The joy of your efforts and hard work resulting in something like this is ineffable. Being placed in Optum – UnitedHealth Group has been one of my greatest achievements. I would like to thank The NorthCap University and School of Professional Attachment (SPA) for giving me this opportunity as well as preparing me for it. I would also like to appreciate everyone who was a part of my success, for their constant support. Read more

When I joined The NorthCap University in the first year, I always used to hear from the seniors that Deloitte is the best company and everyone was keen to be a part of it. So somewhere in the back of my mind I had already set an aim for myself. Now that I have been placed in Deloitte I feel self-sat… isfaction and more confidence in myself. But the journey from the first year till Deloitte was not easy at all. From the first year I knew that for being a part of Deloitte or any other good company I had to do something different from most of the other students. I felt that I required to utilize my college time to the fullest for my overall development like improving my communication and presentation skills along with academics. I started working with dedication and side by side I used to ensure that I do well in academics too. Now it feels so good that all my efforts have been fruitful and that our University takes pride in our success.SPA and all faculty members have been very helpful especially during the placement time and lastly I would say hard work and luck both go hand in hand so one should always keep trying in life. Optum, a healthcare service arm of United Health Group and the largest healthcare IT Company in the world, is a core company for ME students. In the placement drive there was a pen and paper offline test which had 60 questions and the test was for one hour. This was followed by a Pre-Placement Tal… k and Group Discussion. In the GD we were given one minute to jot down the points and 10 minutes for the discussion. Thereafter we had the Technical Interview Round and the HR Interview.I was lucky enough to get selected and am looking forward to working with them.I would like to thank The NorthCap University’s SPA Cell as this would not have been possible without their support, guidance and faith in me..
On joining The NorthCap University, I always heard about placements from my seniors and it was one of my dreams to get placed from college in a Core Company of my field. In my final-year I heard about ICAT and wanted to be a part of this company. When I was intimated by SPA about the forthcoming pla… cement process at ICAT, I felt it was a dream come true. It consisted of an Aptitude Test, Group Discussion and an Interview. During the interview I was a bit nervous but they were impressed with my Blog writing on Cars & Bikes. After 20 days I was informed that I had been selected by ICAT. I was shocked and that was a splendid moment for me which cannot be described in a few words. I shall always be thankful to my parents, SPA and all the faculty members at NCU for always guiding and supporting me to do my best.
I always aspired to be placed in the ‘BIG FOUR’ and getting a job in EY, GDS was like a dream come true. It gives me great pleasure to give back something to my Institute in the form of a vote of thanks for helping me establish myself in the corporate world with ease. It would not have been possible… without the support which I received from the placement cell and the faculty of The NorthCap University, my fellow batch mates, ever inspiring management team and my parents. The training and knowledge imparted throughout my course to handle challenging situations helped me not only attain confidence but also to score the best campus placement in the highly reputed organization EY. I would like to thank NCU for building my career by recognizing and appreciating my hard work and performance.
A global consulting firm that delivers deep expertise, a tailored approach to help leaders confidently face the future, with 70 offices over 20 countries. A dream come true and the name is PROTIVITI!When I entered the Protiviti office I was astonished to see the environment and culture and there and… then I decided that I cannot let this opportunity go. The first level to clear was the aptitude test, next was the GD and after that the technical interview followed by the HR interview and finally I was interviewed by the Director of the company. I felt a sense of confidence within myself as the day progressed.I feel blessed to have been selected in such an organization. I would be failing in my responsibilities if I don’t thank the institution, its management and faculty for making me what I am today. The professionalism, technical and overall development acquired by me at NCU has been immense. As it is rightly said by Colin Powell, “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”
Protiviti is a global consulting and internal audit firm with experts specializing in risk and advisory services. It was really a dream come true for me when I was selected by Protiviti. Working in one of the Fortune companies is the best start to my career. It was possible because of the constant ef… forts that I put in from the beginning of my journey of becoming an engineer. Besides being good in academics, I also worked upon my communication skills which helped me clear the final two rounds with the Assistant Director and HR of the company. Getting selected in Protiviti wasn’t a cake walk for me but I never gave up. It is the daily effort that pays off at the end. This wouldn’t have been possible without the constant support from the University and my mentors. What I learnt from my journey so far is that failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts. So, just keep working on your goals daily and eventually success will follow. Read more
Deloitte is a big name in itself and is the dream company of many students of our University. Deloitte was the first company to come for the recruitment process. The aptitude test was taken right after the pre-placement talk and I cleared it. After a few days the campus drive took place. The first r… ound was the group discussion round. We were divided into groups of ten students each and presented with a case study. We were given five minutes to read the case followed by ten minutes for discussion after which we had to present our thoughts to the moderator through a presentation. We were given sheets of chart paper and had to use them as props. After clearing the group discussion we had the interview round. I had two people in my interview panel. They made me comfortable and asked me to walk them through my resume. I started with my achievements at ASQ with which they were very impressed. My interview was more of an interaction about ASQ and my internship project. At the end they asked me if I had any question for them and I enquired about the different aspects of the job profile. After the interview, the result was announced and I had grabbed the opportunity.

I came to The NorthCap University with the goal of doing something big and different. I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience while studying here. The initial hatred I had for programming made me think that I won’t ever be able to do it. But with the right guidance and support from my teache… rs I not only polished my programming skills but also gathered immense knowledge about modern technologies.
I feel proud to be placed in EY Global. I am thankful to SPA for giving me the right training and a great platform to start my career. Getting a job offer was possible only because of the guidance from my teachers and SPA. It has been a beautiful journey so far and an amazing experience to be a part of this prestigious University.
My journey in NCU is a blissful memory which will always stay with me. These years can be summed into the time from sitting in the middle of strangers having no idea what it means to be in a University on the first day to celebrate the joy of receiving the offer letter from Fidelity with my friends… for life.It goes without stating that this success was a combined effort of a lot of people and a result of a lot of experiences. I was lucky to have a lot of supportive teachers to guide me and mentor me through all the courses and projects. Over the years, as I got to know more and more teachers, I learned that all of them had precious knowledge and experience to offer. Also, I had help and support from a lot of friends who always motivated me to keep pushing hard. These complaisant people have always stayed by my side till date. The variety of courses, projects and activities taught me to become more and more adaptive, creative and inquisitive. Further, the deadlines which came with them trained me to manage time and make decisions. In all these years I’ve realized that NCU is not the place, but the people. I was just a regular college student, attending classes, completing assignments and rushing to meet deadlines,
stuff every college student does. I too belonged to that category of students who studied just a week before the exam.… I too had my share of playing in the fields and hanging out with my friends but when I too had my share of playing in the fields and hanging out with my friends but when I attended classes my entire focus was on the teacher’s words. This helped me a lot during the exams and this is how I managed to score well despite studying a week before the exams. The reason I stand today where I am is because of my attitude in life as well as the things I did right. My approach to life was to live the moment without worrying too much about the future. The same was the approach I had in my interview in FIL for an intern.
I viewed the interview more as an interactive session rather than a placement session. I concentrated more on giving the interview rather than worrying about being selected. I’d recommend everyone to be bold and optimistic. One should always maintain their aplomb in predicaments and instead of focusing on the problems should always focus on the solution. I feel one should always do what they love and should recognize their strengths and strong subjects. It helped me a lot, I hope it helps others too. Managing time and priorities goes a long way in leading an organized life. One should always share their knowledge with others and help them grow, as knowledge too expands upon sharing. Lastly, I feel a man should always possess humility and respect for peers and their opinions. Be hungry and look for ways to improve yourself and the society.
I grew up envying students with a defined dream because the only thing I wanted was getting a job in the Big Four. Finally I got placed in Ernst & Young on 24th of September 2018.With over 700 offices in 150 countries EY is one of the most culturally diverse and the most benevolent organization to work in.… My journey has been really amazing at The NorthCap University it is rather a journey from being a Facebook member to a LinkedIn member with the best faculty members and the most consummate School of Professional Attachment (SPA) staff made it very easy. Giving presentations in class, making project reports and meeting deadlines really helped me.Despite of not having a bright academic record , my communication skills , confidence and the most paramount attitude towards everyone helped me a lot.Securing a job is just not about knowledge, rather it is an intersection of knowledge, skill and the most apt attitude towards work.
I completed two internships at the most prestige organizations during my summer breaks. I am Shubhangi Bhardwaj pursuing my masters in finance at the NorthCap University here at gurugram. The placement cell conducted group discussions and mock personal interviews to prepare us to face the real interviews. The message I want to convey to my juniors and to the future students of NCU is that you have to come out of your comfort zone. Everybody tells you, that you have to come out of your comfort zone to gain success, but I think that you have to come out of your comfort zone, just to expand its boundaries, because this is a continuous process. Every single day you have to learn new things so that every day, you are coming out of your comfort zone, expanding it, and applying the acquired knowledge in your real life, which will be helpful to you. My name is Kartik Chauhan. I’m a student at NCU. I got placed at Capgemini as an Analyst.
It was one of the best moments of my life. Here, learning wasn’t just learning. It was more than that. The faculty here is one of the best I have ever come across. The faculty and the placement cell have helped us along every step. We were given practical knowledge about the corporate world and how to manage ourselves in it. They have trained us for every different scenario in the interview process. They had always supported us and lifted us when we failed. NCU helped me to lift myself to new heights, which I never thought I’d achieve.
I want to convey to my juniors that you have to come out of your comfort zone to gain success. Every single day you have to learn new things and applying the acquired knowledge in your real life, which will be helpful to you. NCU is genuinely an excellent platform for you if you want to succeed in your career.
We all are equal with different opportunities.
I am one of those fortunate students who got a great opportunity by my college for opening doors to success, which got me an internship at a prestigious organization during summer break in 2019 at Nagarro Bootcamp.
Though Bootcamp duration was less than a month, it was engaging and challenging, which lead us to a ginormous learning experience. As a selection process for PPO, we were given dozen of assignments, which followed with a final interview.
Now, I am part of Nagarro, and want to convey the most significant aspect of my journey is always to be aware of your surroundings and do not be afraid to ask anything.
I’d recommend everyone to look for internships of their interest; if you never try, you will never know how the industry works and what kind of work you will fall in love with. I would like to thank my university for constant support.

Being a Cyber Security enthusiast, I always had a great interest in performing small hacking tricks, I started devoting my time in boasting up the cybersecurity skills. In the sixth semester, I opted for cybersecurity as an elective course. The faculty is so promising here, they helped me in fixing manyerrors while working on improving my skills. I participated in Deloitte TechnoUtsav2.0, in which I worked with my team in a way that we made it to the finale and got PPI from Deloitte. Finally, by performing well in the interview, I got a Pre-Placement Offer from Deloitte. I am really excited and looking forwardto starting working with Deloitte.
There were so many ups and downs throughout, but that is the part of our life. My family was a constant support system, along with them the School of Professional Attachments and Faculty members of NCU helped me in staying motivated.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal, and it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Life has been so much happening since the day I joined The NorthCap University. From being an average student, trying to cope up with the curriculum, to getting placed at Encore Capital Group, one of the biggest global specialty finance companies in the world, I’ve evolved tremendously as a person. I’m one of those who waited for a long time to get placed in a good company. Thanks to SPA members who made the wait, worth it.
I got rejected by a lot of companies, but with continuous flood of campus drives, regular PPIs conducted by SPA, and sheer hard-work, I was able to get into an organization, this great. Besides this, I have always been an active member of all the co-curricular activities like Bhangra and other opportunities provided by the university, but I never let it affect my goals. I advise all of you out there to be positive, to believe in yourself and not to fear failure. Don’t run from it, rather learn from it. That’s what I did. It’s all about consistency, right support and the will to achieve something which pays off. I would love to share this achievement with all those who were by my side; my Parents, Teachers, SPA members and at last, myself who helped me become the person I am today.
Opportunities do not come knocking on the door, we have to step out and grab them before they are gone, and exactly it was what I did by participating in TechnoUtsav 2.0 by Deloitte USI.
Walking down the memory lane, I still remember the orientation session conducted for the 2016-2020 batch, where I was introduced to CCTC – a contest designed to test the abilities of participants in the field of Cybersecurity. After completing my first two years at NCU, I got my chance to participate in the third year, and I have not looked back ever since. The competition was a journey in itself, and it was teamwork that helped us in completing all the challenges.
It would not have been possible without my team, and I will always be grateful to them for their enthusiasm and hard work. After competing in the finals, I got a rare opportunity of PPI, and I made sure that it got converted to a PPO. The life of an engineering student is never easy; one assignment after another, followed by exams. However, I feel indebted to all the faculty members for their efforts and endless knowledge, and they know how to bring out the best in students.
I don’t think mere words can define my heartfelt gratitude for my parents; they have always been supportive and respected my decisions. I can proudly say that I owe everything to them, and success is my way of thanking them for everything.
“Don’t let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning.”
This became the fuel which made me put my best foot forward towards my placement process. I feel eternally grateful and overjoyed to start the new phase of my life at Fidelity International. It has been an overwhelming journey throughout and the amount of exposure I got here at NCU is unparalleled.
I’m thankful to all my faculties, SPA and everyone who supported me and believed in me, even when I did not. I have been focused and enthusiastic about Web Development and it is my sincere suggestion to find what you love and do it perfectly well, this is what got me through.
If we fail, it doesn’t mean we have to give up. This is the motto I have followed since I set foot in the university. The hard work always pays off and from the day I entered the college I participated in various competitions and projects which helped me to learn the important virtues an engineer should have and this helped me being selected as an intern at Dakin Industries in my third year. It was a thrilling experience to be selected by one of the leading air-conditioning and refrigeration firm all over the world and what made it even more thrilling was the fact that I was one of the 48 students selected all over India from all the top tier universities for this internship program. The experience as an intern can’t be expressed in a few words, the learning and becoming an all-rounder has always been Daikin’s strong suit which they imbibed in us. After having a successful internship where I ranked 6th out of the 48 students and awarded the best presenter award. After an extensive interview with one of the top leaders at Daikin, I was awarded a job letter to become a part of the Daikin family as a GET.
This motivation to work hard has always been channeled in me through my family and friends and now I am looking forward to moving in my next phase of life and take over this corporate life.
“Success isn’t always about greatness. It's about consistency. Consistent hard work and determination leads to success and greatness will surely come to you!”
This is the motto I have followed since day 1 at NCU. I got placed in Real time data services (RTDS) and I hope that it is going to be the first step of a fruitful career that I have always dreamt about.
It was a privilege for me to be a part of SPA by being an active coordinator over the course of my 3rd year. Before my placements, I had a remarkable experience with different placements drives that helped me prioritize on what things I need to focus upon for securing a good campus placement. Despite the failures, I kept on believing in myself and never lost hope and
always looked forward.
It was a remarkable journey to be a part of NCU. I would like to take the opportunity to thank my parents, SPA, all my faculty members and my friends at NCU for always guiding and supporting me to do my best and have helped me to come out of my shell with flying colors.
‘Success is where preparation and opportunity meet’.
I got a brilliant opportunity to intern at Fidelity International during my 3rd year of Computer Science Engineering. This was hugely facilitated by The Northcap University (NCU) and the School of Professional Attachment (SPA).
The 2 months I spent at Fidelity were nothing short of amazing. This period was packed with intensive learning and experimentation. I was working with the Innovation Garage which aims at solving complex business problems using emerging technology. The project my team and I worked on had a strong alignment with business stakeholders and gave usexposure to the FinTech industry and the unique problems they face. The internship culminated with demos and roadshows where we got to showcase our projects to senior
leaders at Fidelity.
I am extremely grateful to have received a Pre-Placement Offer by Fidelity. NCU and the SPA have played an immense role in preparing me for this golden opportunity and have provided me with unparalleled support and guidance.

Before joining The Northcap University, I was not sure what I wanted to do in life professionally, but somewhere in my mind, I knew that this was the place where I wanted to be.
Today, I can say that it has been one of the best decisions to be a part of this prestigious university.
NCU has given me an exemplary experience that will help me in all walks of life. It has empowered me and made me a confident person who is ready to take on the world in his stride.
I will be always grateful to my revered faculty members for they have been a beacon of light in my journey till now. I would like to express a special gratitude to the SPA members under whose guidance I got the opportunity to show the true worth of an NCU student.
This incredible opportunity was to be a part of NCR Corporation – A global 135 year old company and a leader in banking, retail and hospitality sector.
And I can proudly say that being part of The Northcap University has helped me become a man of value.
It all started in the year 2016. I had a great misconception in my mind that if you are a mechanical engineer, working for an automobile industry is the only path that you can go for. However, this conventional ideology proved wrong when I joined the NorthCap University and was introduced to so many technological developments of recent years. One such was working with CAD/CAM software. We were taught various software during our course of study that included SolidWorks, Ansys, AutoCad, Cura and many more.
The institution even gave me a chance to visit Providence University, Taichung, Taiwan in the year 2019. It was a 10-day program where I could experience the world of 3D Printing, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Game Development. It further determined me to dive into the pool of technological jargon. Such events, one after the other kept my moral high throughout the course of study and I could find the right path for me as an individual.
Now, I have been finally able to join just the right kind of company that I wanted- Vegazva. Its all because of the efforts that my seniors, technical staff, faculties, and the placement team have put in. I thank them all for being so supportive and kind to provide an opportunity to become a part of such a firm.
“I am delightful to get placed in JLL, a fortune 500 professional services and investment management company. It was one of my dreams to get placed in a core company of my field. I would like to thank Faculty of EECE and most importantly SPA for the constant motivation and support to help me secure this opportunity.
The Placement Team kept us regularly informed about the Placement drive updates and also conducted many training and development programs for placement preparation and taught us how to tackle difficulties in interviews. The continuous practical exposure has helped me to enhance my personality to develop skills like Decision making, Leadership, Communication and an attitude to bring positive approach to the challenges of life.
I am proud to be part of this legacy and thankful to everyone for believing in me and making me the person I am today. I will always employ the learnings I have received from this institution.
I would like to end up with the thoughts that “The Harder you work for something, the greater you will feel when you achieve it!”
The NorthCap University has its vision as emphasizing on academic excellence, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and developing socially sensitive managers and this is not just a statement.
NCU has the best quality of learning and innovation with industry-aligned curriculum and industry experts themselves teaching you.
I personally from my childhood days was a very practical person I did not like spending time and focus on quantity study rather I always chase quality and with that view with not a very high CGPA I was still able to crack placement in a core company.
It was in the 6th semester when DAIKIN INDUSTRIES came to campus to select students for summer internship and from there the journey started, being one of the top performers in the 6- week internship program I was given a Pre Placement Offer and for that matter I was placed before my final year even started
I am extremely thankful to my faculty and placement cell teamhere at NCU for bringing in such companies for students.
Campus placements are always a nerve wrecking and tough experience for any candidate because at that moment you have to showcase the best in you. I feel that Pre – Placement Interview sessions are the biggest advantage in placement process because it creates a real environment of corporate interviewing process so that we could get to know our weak areas. Getting selected in “Vegazva” was a big deal for me. I learned some important things during the selection process which I would like to share with every aspiring candidate.
Nowadays, every corporate organisation requires candidates with inherent managerial and technical skills. Hence, it becomes really important that apart from academic requirements students must participate actively in extra-curricular activities, societies/clubs of university to get the required exposure. I have participated actively in SPACE society of Civil Department throughout my undergraduate journey which helped me a lot in flourishing my managerial skills.I would further like to add that interviewer always try to grill on the things that you have written in your CV, hence don’t write false or fake things that you can’t justify. Staying calm and answering with confidence is the key to achievement.
I would like to thank my faculty and SPA for supporting me all through.
“Remember your dreams and fight for them. You must know what you want from life. There is just one thing that makes your dream become impossible: the fear of failure, which I left behind after being rejected from the previous placement drive’s technical interview round. On the day of the Capgemini drive, I was confident and was fully prepared with the technical subjects and all the projects I have completed so far.
The drive started with 3 rounds of aptitude test. We were allowed to appear for the third round only after clearing the previous two rounds. I was very happy to make it to the third round. After being shortlisted for the interview round, I knew that it was my day. The technical interview round was completely based on the technical skills mentioned in my CV and projects I have worked on so far. I answered all the questions confidently with a positive attitude and made it to the HR interview round, which was a general interaction to know me. And now, I’m the part of Capgemini.
I would like to thank The Northcap University for this opportunity, especially to the faculty and SPA for their guidance and support.”
I have always been an ‘above average student’, but nothing extraordinary. But this did not stop me from working towards creating my own space; a space where I can be who I want to be.
NCU gives me opportunity to explore in the field of mechanical engineering, learning from seniors made my way easier towards success. From the 1 st year, I was involved in major projects which made me gain a lot of knowledge. In 3 rd year, I was selected for Industrial training program at Daikin
Industries. In Industrial training, 48 students from various universities were selected. First three week of training was at ACDC- Daikin's state-of-the-art Training Center. At ACDC we were evaluated at every point, from daily test to weekly presentations. I got 8 th rank and next three weeks field
deputation in which I gained a lot of practical knowledge. Finally, by performing well in interview, Igot Pre-Placement offer from Daikin.
It was a wonderful journey of 4 years at The Northcap University and I would like to thank my faculties, SPA for constant support and guidance for placements.
When Fidelity International came in 2018 for campus placements for the final year I got to know about the Internship opportunity that they were going to offer. Out of 100, 22 of us made it for the personal interview round and I was one of them. I was one of the selected students.
After almost 10 months we joined Fidelity International officially for our summer internship. I’d like to say that it was not just an internship; it was an experience in itself. My projects were on Blockchain and Augmented Reality. Both of these emerging technologies were completely new to me. I not only increased my tech stack, but learnt very important things from my mentors, starting from how we should work in a corporate environment to the performance testing and scaling of our projects. My experience at Fidelity was amazing and also inspired me to grow into a better person every single day. Finally, I earned the pre-placement offer from Fidelity International.
I would like to thank my university for their constant support at every step of my academic journey.
I never dreamed about Success, I worked for it. 27th August, 2019 I can never forget this date in my life. I got placed in my dream company Fidelity International. NCU is the reason behind the tremendous change in my personality. I became confident, bold and expressive. I learnt how to manage responsibilities and studies all together.
I was the captain of Bhangra Society of NCU for two years, and I never let that distract me from my studies. This college gave me so many opportunities for dance as well as academics. The SPA Placement cell prepared us for the interviews and helped us work upon our weaknesses. I’m really grateful to God, my parents and teachers who were there for me in every situation.
“Magic happens when you don’t give up, even though you want to. The Universe falls in love with a stubborn heart.”
Each student has his/her story, mine happens to be filled with persistence, determination and optimism. My journey at NCU has been quite happy and appreciable apart from knowledgeable and enlightening. I always wanted something that would challenge me, a job that I could take across the world, and a career that would never get boring. Cut to the present day, and there is no more daydreaming. It has been an exciting and anxious journey from preparing for aptitude tests to make it for group discussion to clear HR as well as technical interview. It was definitely not a smooth sail getting into Deloitte but keeping your calm is the key! There was a moment where I had a fear of rejection, but I gathered all my confidence and cleared all the rounds to get placed in my dream company, Deloitte.
I’m so grateful to my parents, teachers and SPA for emboldening me, always being willing to guide me in the right direction and to extend their hand-holding support.
Honestly, there is nothing that can be done two days prior to score an interview but consistency, hard work, persistence and dedication will make your journey beautiful and eventually, everything will happen all of a sudden and you’ll be thankful that you didn’t give up. Believe that!
The ultimate goal is to arm yourself with knowledge, everything else should be secondary. While my life has revolved around this statement, I want to express the essence of taking a step back at every moment of success in your journey and appreciating yourself for a second. It’s these moments that help you realise in important times, what you’re really worth. I say the above because we all join college with major goals and aspirations for ourselves. For some it’s to achieve impeccable grades and do a valuable master’s degree while for many others it’s to get a job at their dream company. While this process can be daunting, fortunately for me, my crowning jewel of college life was when I blocked a placement with BYJU’S by the support of the School of Professional Attachment of The NorthCap University. I am humbled and honoured to have been chosen for one of the world’s most valued ed-tech company.
My success has been a combination of hard work, confidence, self-development, an immense amount of support from my peers, teachers and my family. My advice to my fellow students would be to be keeping your head down and stay in the grind, be patient and always believe in yourself if you know you’ve put in your best. Try to be part of the journey rather than the outcome and you’ll surely make it to the Promised Land.
One reason people succeed because they push themselves to become better every time. Joining NCU was a great choice; graduating from it involved hard work, exams, outdoor activities and fun with friends. I am happy to say that my journey within NCU was wonderful. It provides me the platform where I was able to hone my skills, develop myself and become the better version of me. We all join college with major goals and continuously made efforts to accomplish them. My hard work and my mentor’s continuous guidance bring me this opportunity to be placed in BYJU’S, Creator of India’s most loved school learning application.
I would like to show my gratitude towards my family, mentors and North Cap University for their support and guidance. My message to all my fellow students is that it is better to take many small steps in the right direction to get success so keep moving. Keep making small steps.
