Appointment & Reporting

  • The Registrar shall be appointed by the Sponsoring Body of the University.
  • The Registrar shall be answerable to and function under the overall supervision of the Sponsoring Body, in accordance with the Act/Statutes/Ordinances of the University.
  • The Registrar shall work in close coordination with the Vice-Chancellor and other statutory authorities for the effective administration of the University.

Role Overview: The Registrar shall be the chief administrative officer of the University and shall be responsible for the overall administration, governance processes, and statutory compliance of the university.

  • Minimum 20 years of administrative experience of which 8 – 10 years should be in a senior leadership role.
  • PREFERABLE: Strong, hands-on experience in university governance, academic administration, regulatory compliance (UGC, AICTE, NAAC), policy implementation, student services, and examination and accreditation management will be an advantage

Tenure & Remuneration: Appointment shall be for a term of three years and can be extended by mutual consent. Salary and service conditions shall be as per UGC norms and/or as decided by the Sponsoring Body.

Role Requirements
