About

The M.A. in Psychology programme shall be covered in 4 semesters. A minimum of 85 credits are required to be earned by a student to complete the course. (Core = 36; Programme Elective = 18; Foundation = 4; Open Elective = 6; Internship, Dissertation & Research Seminar = 15; Ability Enhancement = 2; Community Service = 4).

Sufficient choice for Programme Electives and Open Electives is provided in line with the CBCS guidelines recommended by UGC for flexibility & uniformity in assessments.

Rationale: The NorthCap University, Gurugram has been successfully running the B.A. (H) Psychology programme since 2019. Based on the verbal recommendations of the stakeholders and the experience of quality learning of the students at NorthCap University, the school proposes to launch a Master’s programme in Psychology as per the CBCS guidelines of the UGC. Minimum Eligibility Criteria

M.A. Psychology(2 Years)

A 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Allied Sciences/Nursing/Management or a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Technology recognized by UGC with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing in the final year of Graduation shall also be provisionally eligible.

  • Caution Money: A sum of Rs 10,000/- to be charged from each student seeking admission to the University in the Academic Year 2023-24. The amount is interest free and will be refunded to the students at the time of withdrawal or at end of their programmes, whichever is earlier, after deduction of dues, if any.
  • Alumni Association Fee: A onetime Alumni Association fee of Rs. 1,000/- for all programmes is payable by all students.
  • Industry Employability Aptitude Test Fees: Industry Employability Aptitude Test fees of Rs. 1,500/- is payable.
