11th Fee Concession & Scholarship Distribution Award Ceremony for the students was held on18 April 2022. Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, Shri Bandaru Dattatraya was the Chief Guest for this function.

The University awarded fee concessions to 278 Haryana Domicile students amounting to 1.32 Cr. In addition, 93 students from the earlier semesters have been provided with financial assistance amounting to Rs. 84.32 Lakhs.

Besides the above fee concession, merit scholarship was awarded to 55 students in the Dean list, 6 students pursuing full time research activity as University fellow and 12 girls students pursuing STEM education, financial aid was also given to 7 students who lost their earning parents to COVID-19 last year. An Innovative financial scheme was also offered to 6 students for attending Immersion Programmes in Foreign Universities. Each student was awarded with 1000 dollars to facilitate participation in this unique summer Immersion Program.

In the Academic Year 21-22, the University provided 493 students with fee concessions, Merit Scholarships, financial assistance amounting to a sum of 2.81 Cr. The Governor in his address also complemented the University for this Annual event and exhorted the students to do well in life. He also highlighted that while UGC has given a target 2030 for implementation of NEP in the country, Haryana will become one of the first state in the Country to implement National Education Policy by 2025.
