About the lab:
NavIC Lab was inaugurated on 1 May 2018 by Dr Nilesh M Desai, Deputy Director, SAC-ISRO, Ahmedabad and Dr G Raju, Former Project Director, Megha-Tropiques, ISRO, presently Visiting Professor, Jain University, Bangalore. The data from IRNSS satellites is recorded 24*7 and after analyzing it is sent to SAC-ISRO, Ahmedabad.

  1. Soil moisture detection using GNSS reflectometry
  2. NavIC disciplined oscillator
  3. Study of Ionospheric phenomenon using NavIC signals
  4. Precision navigation using NavIC satellites
  5. Improvement of Noise Performance of the indigenous NavIC ground segment receiver tracking L1, L5 and S (SPS and RS) signals for providing improved PSR accuracy
  6. Carrier Phase Time Transfer using NavIC
