The course to be taken after Class 12th may have a significant influence on your academic and professional journey. Other than joining the traditional engineering or medical fields, there is now a plethora of choices for science students, including artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, and semiconductor technology. The NorthCap University (NCU) is recognized by the Ministry of Education, the UGC, has NAAC “A” grade and has been authorized to offer programs aligned with industry as well as excellence in learning and development. One of the leading private engineering institutions in the country, NCU in Gurugram is able to provide robust academic experience with their several partnerships with major companies for joint research and development, internship and placements, and exchange of experts.

Computer Science & Engineering, AI & Machine Learning, Data Science, Full Stack Development, Cyber Security, Gaming/AR/VR, Quantum Computing and Semiconductor Technology can all be pursued, making it an exciting time to embark on the university’s own four-year B. Tech program designed to equip participants for the most in demand career areas and innovative technology in accordance with current trends. The university places importance on the core concepts of computer science and computer science engineering, including data structures, algorithms, database management systems, operating systems and networks within NCU as well as emerging technologies like blockchain, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. NCU also has a three-year BCA curriculum which focuses on mobile applications, cloud computing, blockchain and web application development.

The B. Tech ECE in Semiconductor Design & Technology is also an undergraduate degree aimed at the rising demand for talent in the semiconductor industry. The B. Tech ECE in Semiconductor Design & Technology degree program is a unique degree program that considers key component of semiconductor technology and also combines a practical training component addressing materials in device design, fabrication, packaging and testing (often called production), featuring real world exposure and industry relevance with significant practical exposure, including learning in labs, and obtaining relevant experience through internships or projects with organizations. The program was formed due to the need for education in Taiwan in forming new academic collaborations with the semiconductor industry in India, establishing the Taiwan Education Centre at National Chiao Tung University (NCTU). The TEC of NCTU further establishes opportunities of academic collaboration and cultural collaboration to include immersion in Mandarin language programs or specific programs in Semiconductor technology. The students will also receive industry exposure, internships, technology exchange opportunities and collaborative research with the semiconductor leaders in Taiwan, creating positive career opportunities in this recent growing industry.

The university has tie-ups with companies like IBM, AWS, and Microsoft, providing students with industry certifications and practical hands-on experience through a range of projects, hackathons etc. Improved opportunities for student exchanges, research experience, internships, and higher studies because of international linkages. The vibrant campus life with multiple active clubs for coding, robotics, culture, sports, and social service heightens the holistic development of the learner. Not only is NCU geographically located in Gurugram and near highest tech and business hub in India, but it also offer maximum direct exposure on industries and as a result real-life internship chance. Vice Chancellor’s Innovation Fund provides the means for students to represent an idea as a real and viable project which leads to being independent, creative, and appropriately challenging. The International Relations Office (IRO) is a landmark initiative response to the degenerate modes-to- world relations motive and looks at relating with and creating connections to academics, and our NCU IRO will expressly go to work without the arbitrary confines of borders. The IRO will intrinsically improve students learning experience by acting as a conduit between NCU home institution and other distinguished international institutions and its launching NCU out into the world. NCU also provides the scholarships to students based on class 12th score. NCU also 15% off on tuition fee for undergraduate programmes to single girl child students. Track Record of almost 100% placements in reputed firms like Deloitte, Ernst and Young, TCS, Fidelity etc.

For self-motivated, tech-driven students seeking a balanced education with practical exposure and reasonable fees, NCU stands out as a promising choice for pursuing a B.Tech programme.
