We’re proud to have wrapped up a successful VIII edition of NCU’s National Moot Court Competition!
The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice (Retd.) Rajesh Tandon, Uttarakhand High Court, Nainital as the Chief Guest for the event.
Teams from across the nation participated with unmatched zest and determination. The final round of the competition was presided over by a three judge bench comprising Mr. Sudhir Mishra, Partner and Founding Manager, Trust Legal, Mr. Jeevan Ballav Panda, Partner, Khaitan & Co. and Dr. Sunod Jacob, Government Liaison, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UN Refugee Agency.
After witnessing a rigorous round of exhibition of legal skills, the team from Christ University, Delhi NCR emerged as the winner of the competition. The runner-up position was secured by Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur.
The event was chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Archana Sarma, HOD, School of Law, and organized by the Moot Court Committee, SOL comprising Dr. Pallavi Bajpai, Senior Assistant Professor, and Convenor, Moot Court Committee and Mr. Mohit Vats and Ms. Arushi Anthwal, Assistant Professors, School of Law. Many congratulations to the entire School of Law for organising a great event with much fervour and zeal.
