  • The transportation performance score evaluates the greenhouse gas emissions measured as carbon dioxide equivalent emissions (CO2e) emerging from transportation i.e. to and from the building against other high performance buildings around the world. The score is assessed at the scale of 1-100 based on average CO2e per one-way trip per resident (lbs).
  • Transportation performance score of NCU has been estimated as 83 (approx) based on the survey conducted during Jan-Feb 2020.
  • Solid Waste management.

TRANSPORT POLICY AT NCU

The NorthCap University has consciously put in efforts in environment friendly transport facilities within the campus and outside the campus. Following best practices related to transport are adopted by the University :

  • Restricted movements of vehicles inside the campus
  • CNG fitted Cab facilities for pick and drop of students
  • Car pooling by faculty and students
  • Initiatives taken by the University - odd-even rule is adopted by the University for the restriction on movement on vehicles
  • University buses are also CNG fitted
