Curriculum – Detailed Programme Structure
- Year 1: Fundamentals—Anatomy/Physiology for lab sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology basics, Lab safety & biosafety.
- Year 2: Clinical Biochemistry (automation/QC), Hematology (coagulation), Immunology & Serology, Clinical Microbiology (bacteriology, mycology, virology).
- Year 3: Pathology (histopathology, cytology), Transfusion medicine, Molecular diagnostics basics, Laboratory management & LIS; research methods.
- Year 4: Compulsory rotatory internship across sections; exit assessment.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (Haematology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Histopath), Lab Quality Officer, LIS Coordinator, Field Application Specialist.
- Employers: NABL-accredited labs, hospitals, diagnostics networks, biotech firms, public health labs.
