Cisco Networking Lab

Cisco Networking Academy in NCU was setup in January 2014. The main objective of this academy is to meet the growing demands for ICT Professionals and to improve the career prospects of students.

The Cisco networking programme aims to inculcate networking and IT skills in students who want to expand their IT knowledge and become industry ready. It includes innovative IT curricula that include four modules. CCNA certifications cover all important networking aspects which is the first step in a Cisco career certification path. These modules are:

• CCNA1 — Networking Basics
• CCNA2 — Routers and Routing Basics
• CCNA3 — Switching Basics and Intermediate Routing
• CCNA4 — WAN Technologies

A dedicated CISCO lab was set and more than 100 students have already benefited from this programme.
