Dr. Garima Sharma is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 9 years of teaching, curriculum development, and research experience. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at The NorthCap University, Gurugram. She holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from MDU Rohtak, an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from ITM University, and a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from The NorthCap University, with research focused on Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence, particularly facial expression recognition using metaheuristic-based feature selection techniques.

Dr Sharma has established a strong academic and research profile, with more than 15 publications in reputed Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, along with five published patents in areas such as Blockchain, Cloud Security, and Secure Wallet Systems. She is certified as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft SC-900 Certified and Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals professional and has actively contributed to faculty development programs and training initiatives in emerging technologies.

Her expertise includes curriculum design and delivery in subjects such as Algorithm Design, Secure Communication, Cryptography, Cloud Computing, and Blockchain. Her research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity. Dr. Sharma has successfully mentored many undergraduate and postgraduate projects and dissertations and continues to contribute to academia through research, innovation, workshops, and conference engagements.
