Dr. Prachi is a Professor and Associate Head of the Department of CSE, with over 17 years of experience in academia and research. She serves as Program Chair for the M.Tech. and Ph.D. programs of CSE Department and as Chairperson of the University’s Student Disciplinary Committee. A recipient of Star Performer (2025), Active Researcher (2025) and Best Faculty Award (2023), she holds professional certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft SC-900 along-with multiple patents and copyrights. She is UGC-NET/JRF qualified and has successfully completed an NTRO-funded research project valued at ₹19 lakhs, focusing on Android malware detection through artificial intelligence techniques.

Dr. Prachi has mentored winning student teams in hackathons and specializes in Malware Analysis, Cyber Security, and Digital Forensics. She has an extensive publication record in high-impact SCI, WoS, and Scopus-indexed journals, has mentored numerous undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research projects, and has successfully supervised four Ph.D. scholars in emerging areas of computer science.

An author of two books and nine book chapters, Dr. Prachi is also a reviewer for SCI-indexed journals and a resource person for faculty programs. She has received appreciation certificates for delivering various sessions and mentoring winning teams from the Ministry of Education and Volkswagen Group Technology Solutions. She has organized national and international events to promote cybercrime awareness and security education.
