NCU School of Law (SOL) Hosts 1st Edition of Model United Nations (MUN)
With the enthusiastic participation of 137 students from 16 schools across Delhi-NCR, the event simulated the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on the agenda “The Value of Free Speech in a Democracy.” It featured four parallel sessions where delegates engaged in rigorous debates, balancing free speech with peace, security, and harmony.
Key Highlights:
- Welcome Address: Delivered by Registrar Commodore Diwakar Tomar, stressing diplomacy, critical thinking, and global awareness.
- Valedictory Address: Vice Chancellor Prof. Nupur Prakash commended the delegates’ efforts and urged them to carry forward the spirit of leadership and empathy.

The event was held under the patronage of Prof.
Dr. Archana Sarma, HOD, School of Law, served as Patron-in-Chief. The Organising Committee comprised Associate Professors - Mr.
Himangshu Rathee, Ms.
Himani Ahlawat, and Mr.
Dipender Chhikara.
Mr. Kunal Sudan is a certified "yoga teacher and evaluator" by yoga certification board, Ministry of Ayush India. He is also a faculty of Yoga and Mediation, Stress Management and Life Skills and Art of living. He is a guest faculty for Yoga and Personality Development at NIFT, Delhi.
This was an offline event held in Cafe 10 basement in which Mr. Kunal Sudan performed various asanas explaining its procedure and benefits to the participants.Students along with faculty members participated very enthusiastically in session.
