WEBINAR: WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY

EWB WIT conducted a webinar on ‘Women In Technology’ through a live stream on YouTube. The speaker for the session was Ms. Swetha Sarvaa from Drones Agri.The webinar started with the speaker giving a brief intro about them. Then she enlightened us about areas in which women are mostly interested and can venture. She shared anecdotes and personal experiences that she had gained from working and that were extremely helpful for the students. One of the main reasons behind the webinar was to inspire women and Ms. Sarvaa also talked about the reasons which hold women back. She discussed various successful startups led by women and how much women contribute to the latest technologies like AI, IoT, etc. One of the best parts of the webinar was the startup matrix which helped in paving a way for students. The webinar session ended with a question answers round.
