Dr. Bharti Arora has been associated with The NorthCap University since July 2013 and brings over 13 years of teaching experience, including her tenure at prestigious institutions such as Hansraj College and Lady Irwin College under the University of Delhi. At NCU, she has been actively engaged in teaching a broad range of subjects including Engineering Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biophysics, and Green Technology. Her teaching excellence was recognized in 2016 by Prof. John Wilson, Head of ASIC Accreditation, UK, who commended her for outstanding classroom delivery. Additionally, she contributes as a faculty member for the Environmental Studies course on the NCU Online Learning (NCU OL) platform.
Dr. Bharti Arora has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout her education at the University of Delhi. She was awarded the prestigious “UGC Research Fellowship in Science for Meritorious Students” and was also selected for the “Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarship for Doctoral Research Studies” in 2008. In recognition of her academic contributions, she was named the “Bentham Science Ambassador” for India by Bentham Publishers. Dr. Arora has also received a certificate of appreciation from Elsevier for her peer-review contributions to different journals. Most recently, she was honoured with the NCU Academic Research Scholarship Award as one of the Top 10 Faculty Researchers on Teacher’s Day 2024.

Dr. Bharti Arora has published ten research papers indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, with a cumulative SCI impact factor of 31.09. She has also authored seven book chapters (WOS/Scopus indexed) and one Scopus-indexed conference proceeding. She has actively participated in and presented her research at numerous national and international conferences. In addition to her excellence in teaching, Dr. Bharti Arora has been playing a key role in research administration at The NorthCap University as the Deputy Dean – Research, Development and Industrial Liaison (RDIL) over a period of 8+ yrs. She has also served as the NCU Coordinator for NIRF rankings and NAAC accreditation in recent years and is an active member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Dr. Arora has successfully organized several guest lectures featuring eminent scientists from India and abroad. Notably, she co-coordinated a National Workshop on “MEMS Design, Technology & Application” held from March 1st – 3rd , 2015, in collaboration with IIT Delhi (Coordinator: Dr. Madhusudan Singh, IITD).
She is also actively involved in academic outreach, having delivered invited talks, participated in panel discussions, and contributed to academic blogging.
