Dr Meghna Sharma is currently working as Associate Professor and Core Courses Lead in the department of CSE. She has a rich teaching and research experience of more than 20 years. She is B. E in Computer Science and Engineering from CRSCE Murthal, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from GJU Hissar and PhD from YMCA Faridabad in the area of Machine Learning. She has also completed a reputed PG certification of Big Data Engineering from BITS Pilani with UpGrad .She has many certification courses to her credit like Coursera courses with the universities of International repute with distinction in the domain of Data Science,IIT Roorkee Certification course of Data Science Specialization through CloudXLab, NPTEL courses from IIT Roorkee .

Before she came on board at NCU, Dr Meghna has worked as a Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Control Systems group, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore. She is a recipient of the Science Award conferred by the Government of Haryana in 2007.Her major areas of interests are Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics and AI in healthcare. There are many research papers published to her credit in indexed journals and conferences. She has one patent granted and published by Australian Patent Office and two patents published by India Patent Office. She has guided more than 40 B. Tech projects, 10 M.Tech theses, and currently supervising 4 Ph.D. Scholars. She is a professional member of ACM and chairs Data Analysis and Research Group of NCU.
