Curriculum – Detailed Programme Structure
- Year 1: Geometrical & physical optics, Ocular anatomy & physiology, Communication, Clinical Optometry I.
- Year 2: Visual optics, Ophthalmic instruments, General & ocular microbiology, Pharmacology; clinics.
- Year 3: Contact lenses, Binocular vision, Low vision, Pediatric & geriatric optometry, Community eye health; research/project.
- Year 4-5: Long internship (4 semesters as per curriculum) across clinics & hospitals with competency logs.
