Curriculum – Detailed Programme Structure

  • Year 1: Basic medical sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry), Microbiology, Medical Terminology, Foundation of OT & Anaesthesia, First Aid & BLS.
  • Year 2: Pharmacology, Anaesthesia equipment & monitoring, Surgical instruments & procedures, Infection control, Biomedical waste management, Clinical postings.
  • Year 3: Advanced anaesthesia techniques, speciality surgeries, pain management, emergency & trauma care, ICU basics, simulation labs, research methodology.
  • Year 4: Compulsory internship/job training across multi-specialty OTs and ICU.

  • OT Technologist, Anaesthesia Technologist, CSSD Coordinator, Surgical Assistant (under supervision), OT Manager.
  • Employers: Multi-specialty hospitals, day-care centres, specialty clinics, device companies (applications).

  • Caution Money: A sum of Rs 10,000/- to be charged from each student seeking admission to the University in the Academic Year 2026-27. The amount is interest free and will be refunded to the students at the time of withdrawal or at end of their programmes, whichever is earlier, after deduction of dues, if any.
  • Alumni Association Fee: A onetime Alumni Association fee of Rs. 1,000/- for all programmes is payable by all students.
  • Industry Employability Aptitude Test Fees: Industry Employability Aptitude Test fees of Rs. 1,500/- is payable.
  • Youth Red Cross Fund : Rs. 80/- is payable by all students
