Optimization Techniques Lab

Optimization Techniques Lab is equipped with 25 customized PCs configured with Windows 7 operating system as well as specialized Microsoft SQL server, wired and wireless networking equipment and projector. The computer systems are enabled with Intel Core i3 and 8GB & 4GB RAM. The experiments are developed using simulation software MATLAB version 2019 with unlimited user licenses having access to all tools, libraries and apps in the lab. Some examples include solving linear and non-linear programming problems, finding maxima and minima of a non-linear single variable constrained or unconstrained function and multivariable functions etc.
