Dr. Neha Gupta

Assistant Professor

PhD (Mathematics) Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR)
MSc (Mathematics), CCS University

Dr. Neha Gupta received her M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut in 2014. She completed her PhD degree from IIT Roorkee in July 2019. She joined The NorthCap University, Gurugram in July 2019. Presently, she is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences.

Her doctoral thesis entitled ‘Numerical Investigation of Ventilation Problems with Discrete Heat and Contaminant Sources’ is related to the numerical investigation of various aspects of fluid flow, heat and mass transfer within ventilated enclosures equipped with different types of thermal and boundary conditions. This area is of her primary interest because of its wide range of applications in various industrial and commercial heating or cooling applications like cooling of electronic devices, thermal comfort, drying technologies, space heating/cooling, smoke control in tunnels, pollutant removing and thermal design of buildings. Dr. Neha has published 10 research papers in international peer reviewed journals. She has actively participated in 5 International/National conferences to present her research work. Dr. Neha Gupta was awarded with “Student Travel Grant from Department of Science and Technology (DST), India for attending ‘3rd Thermal and Fluids Engineering Conference (TFEC-2018)’ from 4-7 March 2018 held at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
