  2. Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE)

The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. It is an International Associate of ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. ISHRAE today has more than 10,000 HVAC&R professionals and 3,000 students as members with 40 chapters and sub chapters across India.

ISHRAE’s primary objective is the advancement of the art and sciences of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Engineering & other related Building Services. ISHRAE is committed towards building a safe environment for the future.

ISHRAE student’s chapters in more than 150 engineering colleges is promoting careers in the HVAC&R industry amongst the students through seminars, quizzes, plant and site visits.

ISHRAE engages in a broad spectrum of activities to attain its objectives. ISHRAE conducts conferences, seminars, workshops and catalogue shows throughout the country with both national and international participation on the latest in terms of technologies, systems and services. Major activities are enumerated below:
