PROGRAMME  EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO1: The students will be able to critically observe, analyze, formulate, solve, interpret and communicate problems using scientific principles and mathematical methods.

PEO2: The students with strong foundations in applied science will be adequately equipped to take up courses of higher levels in their respective engineering disciplines

 

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (POs)

PO1: The students shall be proficient in fundamentals of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and in scientific reasoning and effective communication.

PO2: Students shall be able to relate to applications of science and engineering in real life.

PO3: Students shall have an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility that has an impact on their higher studies and professional career.

BSc (Hons) Physics

PROGRAMME  EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO1:  To equip students with knowledge, abilities and insight in Physics and related fields.

PEO2: To equip them to analyze and communicate physics facts, effectively in inter-disciplinary environment.

PEO3: To equip students with the ability to translate and synthesize their understanding towards nature, human and development.

PEO4: To equip the students with the ability to utilize the concepts of Physics such as optics, electricity, Magnetism, Thermodynamics etc and their applications in addressing the practical and heuristic issues.

PEO5: To enable students to recognize the need for and the ability to engage in life-long learning

 

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (POs)

PO1: Able to apply the knowledge of Physical science to solve real life problems.

PO2: Able to apply the modern measurement technology, including optics, analog electronics, computer data acquisition, laboratory test equipment by critical understanding and analysis.

PO3: Able to provide a systematic understanding of core physical concepts, their theories and applications.

PO4: Communicate the results of theoretical calculations and laboratory experiments in a clear and concise  manner that incorporates the scientific conventions used by physicists worldwide.

PO5: Able to lead, work in team and give priority to the success of team.

PO6: Able to recognize and learn the importance of life-long learning.

MSc (Mathematics)

PEO3: To equip students with the ability to translate and synthesize their understanding towards nature, human and development.

PEO4: To develop the ability to utilize the mathematical problem solving methods such as analysis, modeling, and programming and mathematical software applications in addressing the practical and heuristic issues.

PEO5: To enable students to recognize the need for and the ability to engage in life-long learning

PEO3: To equip students with the ability to translate and synthesize their understanding towards nature, human and development.

PEO4: To equip students with the ability to utilize the mathematical problem solving methods such as analysis, modeling, programming and mathematical software applications in addressing the practical and heuristic issues.
