Dr Amita Bhagat earned her doctoral degree at the Department of Mathematics, IIT Roorkee, on the topic ‘Performance Analysis of Retrial Queueing Systems’. She holds a brilliant academic record and has been an outstanding student throughout her studies and is also recipient of the Gold Medal for both her graduation and post-graduation. Her research domain includes queueing theory, wireless communication networks, Stochastic Modelling and Performance Analysis. She has to her credit more than 10 research papers in various journals of repute including SCI journals. She has presented research papers in various national and international conferences, including the 11th WRQ in Amsterdam in 2016, Asian Mathematical Conference, Bali in July 2016, 8th International Conference on Queueing Theory and Network Applications at Providence University, Taichung, Taiwan, 2013. She is associated with the University since August 2014. Presently she is guiding various students for Projects and Ph.D Thesis. She is a member of various reputed associations including the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). Dr Amita has teaching experience of more than 3 years and eight years of research experience.
