I am extremely delighted to share the ‘big news’ of being placed at Echelon India, a culmination of the last five years’ constant evolution of learning, perseverance and seizing opportunities. Altogether, I had an amazing experience sitting through and securing this job during placement drive at Echelon India, although it was quite challenging at times. Emerson, the great thinker and writer said, “Life consists in what a man is thinking of all day.” If you think success, you create a climate in which success is probable. If you think failure, you set the stage for it. Looking forward to starting a new phase of life and my first professional stint. Beyond words can express, I shall always be thankful to my parents, The NorthCap University and members of faculty of School of Law who constantly motivated and supported me throughout my journey.
Satyarth BBA-LLB (H), Class of 2018
"Success doesn't come to us, we go towards it." The journey of an engineering student is not an easy one. One is always chasing after lectures, projects, submissions, internal evaluations and last but not the least the placement. I, being an engineering student was no different. But, being a student of The NorthCap University, I am gratified by the guidance and environment that helped me in every little step during my Engineering. I would like to specially thank the whole team of SPA for grooming me to be industry ready. The job profile of AVL is technical and I even got an opportunity to go for training to Germany. This is all because of the patience and confidence that my family, my faculty and SPA developed in me. I owe it all to the institution and my family. I shall always seek their guidance and I know that they would always there for me in my future also.
Priyanka Khattar BTech, Class of 2018
“Destiny played its dice when at a tender age of seven I was diagnosed with a muscle debilitating condition and my struggle started. In 2010 at the age of 14, when I was in the 8th Class, I got my motorized wheelchair and I was zooming around once again in my school compound along with my classmates. With a 9.6 CGPA in class 10th and 80% in 12th and seven Scholar Badges under my belt with Blue Coat and Tie from DPS, Sushant Lok, Gurugram, I was ready for my JEE exam and the next phase of life out of the protected environment of the school. Scoring pretty well and getting admission calls from various institutes of repute, The NorthCap University was my pick for I got a branch of my choice and the accessibility to the whole campus.I must express my gratitude here because whatever little more was required for my accessibility on the campus, it was all constructed before my first day at NCU.With the support of my friends, teachers and staff, I have been lucky to complete two internships at Sapient. This has been the best experience of my life. The amount of involvement in work and weekend parties at Sapient made me feel so confident and ready for the next stage of life. Every budding young man feels excited and nervous at the same time at the mere thought of campus placement. You wait for the 7th Sem so anxiously and when the day arrives for the group discussion and personal interaction, you are literally sweating. But it has been a dream come true to have been placed in one of the Big Four. Finally, Ernst & Young is going to be the first step for a fruitful career for me. The journey has been long and arduous but my hard work and will has paid off in the form of this opportunity. In spite of all the obstacles and impediments I have faced in my life till now, I kept on believing in myself and never lost hope and always looked forward. With the support from my family, friends and NCU, I am ready to face the professional world.
Sankalp Kalia BTech CSE, Class of 2018
Deloitte is a dream company for every fresher as it is considered to be one of the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms and the largest professional services network in the world by revenue and number of professionals. I was recently selected by Deloitte through the placement process. It started with an online aptitude test consisting of Quant and Verbal sections. The selected students went on for a Group Discussion where a case study was to be understood and presented and the third round was the interview. I am thankful to the University and all those who played an important role in helping me make this dream come true. I believe Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning and most of all the love for what you are doing.
Harshit Aggarwal BTech CSE, Class of 2018
The dream of every BTech student is to secure a job through campus placement and this dream became a reality for me in the final year of my engineering when I got placed with Deloitte. SPA played a pivotal role in helping me secure this job. It all started off with participation in the CCTC competition conducted by Deloitte in the third year of Engineering. It tests the fundamentals in the area of cyber security and data privacy. The competition consisted of three rounds – the initial two rounds were conducted in Delhi with the grand finale being hosted by Deloitte in Hyderabad. Through the almighty’s will I was able to win this competition which meant that during Deloitte’s placement drive I would be exempted from the interview and the GD round. But this still meant that I had to clear the personal interview which was a massive hurdle all by itself. SPA helped me hone my personal interview skills by conducting mock interviews on various occasions just to give a taste of what an actual corporate interview would be like. The suggestions, tips and tricks helped me answer all the interviewer’s questions correctly and precisely. In conclusion, my placement experience was a blissful journey which I could not have completed had it not been for the valuable support of all my friends, teachers, family and definitely the School of Professional Attachment.
Abhay Abraham BTech CSE, Class of 2018
I think it all comes down to really loving what you do. If you love what you do, you will succeed eventually. My passion for programming and computer science started in Class X when I learned C++. I instantly loved the practical aspect of it and the joy of creating something from scratch. When I joined The NorthCap University, I learned many more languages, wrote many more programmes and grew, not only as a developer but as a person too. These last few years have been a great learning experience for me. The placement procedure was an emotional roller coaster ride. The first round was an aptitude test which wasn't easy but I was able to crack it. A technical interview was scheduled on the following day. As soon as I got inside the interview room I felt confident in my skills and abilities. That reflected well in the interview as I was cleared for the HR interview as well. It was an emotional moment when I realized how proud of me my parents, friends and teachers would be. The joy of your efforts and hard work resulting in something like this is ineffable. Being placed in Optum - UnitedHealth Group has been one of my greatest achievements. I would like to thank The NorthCap University and School of Professional Attachment (SPA) for giving me this opportunity as well as preparing me for it. I would also like to appreciate everyone who was a part of my success, for their constant support.
Adit Maniktala BTech CSE, Class of 2018
It would have only been a dream of getting placed in a Big company but is now a reality for me as I have got this wonderful opportunity to work with BT (British Telecom), one of the leading Communications company in the UK and in other 170 countries. I was selected by BT via the on-campus placement drive. Overall there were five rounds and after each round only the shortlisted students went for the next round. The process started with an online test followed by a Group Discussion and then Face to Face interview rounds (technical, management and HR). I would like to thank The North Cap University for providing me this amazing opportunity to work in BT and the faculty of the Dept of EECE for supporting me throughout my BTech journey.
Amitanshu Chugh ECE (Class of 2018)
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my University which helped me to achieve what everyone desires after a BTech degree - A Campus Placement! I have indeed learnt a lot from various PPI sessions at SPA. My internship played a vital role in my success as I managed to crack the interview based on the skills and practical knowledge I acquired during my internship. Getting rejections after clearing the aptitude test from other companies didn't shake my confidence and finally I achieved what I wanted.Real Time Data Services (RTDS) is going to be my first step towards a rewarding career ahead. The journey has been long and back-breaking but hearing your name called out after the interview, after so many rejections, is altogether a fantastic feeling. It gives you a sense of achievement!
Chirag Narula CSE (Class of 2018)
When I joined The NorthCap University in the first year, I always used to hear from the seniors that Deloitte is the best company and everyone was keen to be a part of it. So somewhere in the back of my mind I had already set an aim for myself. Now that I have been placed in Deloitte I feel self-satisfaction and more confidence in myself. But the journey from the first year till Deloitte was not easy at all. From the first year I knew that for being a part of Deloitte or any other good company I had to do something different from most of the other students. I felt that I required to utilize my college time to the fullest for my overall development like improving my communication and presentation skills along with academics. I started working with dedication and side by side I used to ensure that I do well in academics too. Now it feels so good that all my efforts have been fruitful and that our University takes pride in our success.SPA and all faculty members have been very helpful especially during the placement time and lastly I would say hard work and luck both go hand in hand so one should always keep trying in life.

Ernst & Young (EY) is a dream company for many and I feel proud to be placed in it. But the journey to this point is even better. The constant evolution over the last four years of learning, perseverance and seizing the opportunity has made me what I am today. Yes, you need to work hard but need to be smart enough to use that knowledge to attain success. This leads to a new chapter in my life where I wish to succeed, achieve new heights and make everyone feel proud of me.I owe it all to The NorthCap University which has always been there and helped me explore and hone my skills and enrich my personality. I am thankful to NCU for providing me an opportunity with the dream company Ernst & Young. I shall always be thankful to my parents, faculty members and SPA Cell for their constant support, effort, timely guidance and blessings which made me achieve my goal. Thank You!

Optum, a healthcare service arm of United Health Group and the largest healthcare IT Company in the world, is a core company for ME students. In the placement drive there was a pen and paper offline test which had 60 questions and the test was for one hour. This was followed by a Pre-Placement Talk and Group Discussion. In the GD we were given one minute to jot down the points and 10 minutes for the discussion. Thereafter we had the Technical Interview Round and the HR Interview.I was lucky enough to get selected and am looking forward to working with them.I would like to thank The NorthCap University’s SPA Cell as this would not have been possible without their support, guidance and faith in me..
Tarun Rana ME (Class of 2018)
On joining The NorthCap University, I always heard about placements from my seniors and it was one of my dreams to get placed from college in a Core Company of my field. In my final-year I heard about ICAT and wanted to be a part of this company. When I was intimated by SPA about the forthcoming placement process at ICAT, I felt it was a dream come true. It consisted of an Aptitude Test, Group Discussion and an Interview. During the interview I was a bit nervous but they were impressed with my Blog writing on Cars & Bikes. After 20 days I was informed that I had been selected by ICAT. I was shocked and that was a splendid moment for me which cannot be described in a few words. I shall always be thankful to my parents, SPA and all the faculty members at NCU for always guiding and supporting me to do my best.
VISHESH SINGH ME (Class of 2018)
I always aspired to be placed in the ‘BIG FOUR’ and getting a job in EY, GDS was like a dream come true. It gives me great pleasure to give back something to my Institute in the form of a vote of thanks for helping me establish myself in the corporate world with ease. It would not have been possible without the support which I received from the placement cell and the faculty of The NorthCap University, my fellow batch mates, ever inspiring management team and my parents. The training and knowledge imparted throughout my course to handle challenging situations helped me not only attain confidence but also to score the best campus placement in the highly reputed organization EY. I would like to thank NCU for building my career by recognizing and appreciating my hard work and performance.
ABHA BHARDWAJ CSE (Class of 2018)
A global consulting firm that delivers deep expertise, a tailored approach to help leaders confidently face the future, with 70 offices over 20 countries. A dream come true and the name is PROTIVITI!When I entered the Protiviti office I was astonished to see the environment and culture and there and then I decided that I cannot let this opportunity go. The first level to clear was the aptitude test, next was the GD and after that the technical interview followed by the HR interview and finally I was interviewed by the Director of the company. I felt a sense of confidence within myself as the day progressed.I feel blessed to have been selected in such an organization. I would be failing in my responsibilities if I don’t thank the institution, its management and faculty for making me what I am today. The professionalism, technical and overall development acquired by me at NCU has been immense. As it is rightly said by Colin Powell, “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”
Neev Puri CSE (Class of 2018)
Protiviti is a global consulting and internal audit firm with experts specializing in risk and advisory services. It was really a dream come true for me when I was selected by Protiviti. Working in one of the Fortune companies is the best start to my career. It was possible because of the constant efforts that I put in from the beginning of my journey of becoming an engineer. Besides being good in academics, I also worked upon my communication skills which helped me clear the final two rounds with the Assistant Director and HR of the company. Getting selected in Protiviti wasn’t a cake walk for me but I never gave up. It is the daily effort that pays off at the end. This wouldn’t have been possible without the constant support from the University and my mentors. What I learnt from my journey so far is that failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts. So, just keep working on your goals daily and eventually success will follow.
Ritika Sharma CSE (Class of 2018)
Deloitte is a big name in itself and is the dream company of many students of our University. Deloitte was the first company to come for the recruitment process. The aptitude test was taken right after the pre-placement talk and I cleared it. After a few days the campus drive took place. The first round was the group discussion round. We were divided into groups of ten students each and presented with a case study. We were given five minutes to read the case followed by ten minutes for discussion after which we had to present our thoughts to the moderator through a presentation. We were given sheets of chart paper and had to use them as props. After clearing the group discussion we had the interview round. I had two people in my interview panel. They made me comfortable and asked me to walk them through my resume. I started with my achievements at ASQ with which they were very impressed. My interview was more of an interaction about ASQ and my internship project. At the end they asked me if I had any question for them and I enquired about the different aspects of the job profile. After the interview, the result was announced and I had grabbed the opportunity. It was a wonderful journey to be a part of NCU. I would like to thank SPA for their continuous guidance and support throughout the journey.
Shringa A Vatas CSE (Class of 2018)
I have been campus placed in Deloitte recently and I now like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been a part of this Incredible Journey! First and foremost, I would like to appreciate all the efforts the University has taken in making my dream come true. I would like to personally thank the School of Professional Attachment (SPA) for providing me an opportunity for the Deloitte placement process. I would also like to express a special token of gratitude to all the faculty and management of the University in helping me acquire the requisite soft skills, which helped me during the crucial Interview. The practical aspect of the curriculum helped me easily clear the case study round! My whole Interview was associated with Networking and Cyber Security Domain; hence this testimonial would be incomplete without referring to how indebted I am to the elective courses which are being offered by the Computer Science department. What I believe is the key to success is assimilating knowledge in every situation. Just grasp the opportunities that you are getting and act like a sponge in all situations!
Paras Juneja CSE (Class of 2018)
I came to The NorthCap University with the goal of doing something big and different. I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience while studying here. The initial hatred I had for programming made me think that I won't ever be able to do it. But with the right guidance and support from my teachers I not only polished my programming skills but also gathered immense knowledge about modern technologies. I feel proud to be placed in EY Global. I am thankful to SPA for giving me the right training and a great platform to start my career. Getting a job offer was possible only because of the guidance from my teachers and SPA. It has been a beautiful journey so far and an amazing experience to be a part of this prestigious University.
