NCU student attends World Conference on Quality and Improvement 2018 in Seattle, Washington

ASQ-NCU Chapter Chair and Student Deputy, NextGen, Shringa A Vatas, Dept of CSE, was invited to attend ASQ’s World Conference on Quality and Improvement 2018 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington from 30 April to 2 May 2018. She participated in the meeting with ASQ’s Board of Directors along with her colleagues of NextGen to establish the importance of bridging the gap between students and industries and why ASQ should consider NextGen to be a technical community. She interacted with quality professionals from across the globe and shared her ideas and views about the same. Her efforts were highly appreciated by the members of the Quality Management Division of ASQ.

This conference was a successful venture and has taken forward the principle of NextGen. As the Student Deputy, NextGen, Shringa was provided with financial funding for this visit. This was her fourth venture under this role as previously she has been to Ahmedabad and Delhi to fulfill her responsibilities as the Student Deputy. The ASQ-NCU team feels proud of her achievement.
