Students from the School of Engineering and Technology and Faculty members attended a one-day seminar on ‘Journey of Science and Technology in India: A historical perspective’ at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, on 2 September 2017. This seminar was jointly organized by Alumni of Presidency University, Kolkata (formerly known as Presidency College) and The National Academy of Sciences, India (Delhi Chapter). The seminar was held to commemorate the 200-year journey of Presidency University since its inception in 1817.
