Ministry of HRD, Govt of India lists The NorthCap University, Gurugram the top Private University in Haryana

 

  

In the recent ranking list announced under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt of India, The NorthCap University is listed as the only Private University in Haryana amongst Top 100 Universities, All India. The NIRF has been launched by the MHRD for the very first time. In a ceremony held on 4 April 2016, the Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development, Smt Smiriti Irani issued the rankings.

The NorthCap University, Gurugram has been placed as the top Private University in Haryana and Delhi/ NCR and the 4th Private University in whole of North India, by the Ministry of HRD. NCU is ranked 82nd out of 233 participating universities of the total 740 universities in India. It ranked 17th among all Private Universities in India. In fact, NCU is the only private university from Haryana and Delhi/ NCR to be placed in the Top 100 list. Among different parameters of the NIRF ranking, NCU secured 100% points in ‘Graduate Outcomes’ and 75% points each in ‘Teaching, Learning & Resources’ and ‘Outreach’ which speaks about its academic excellence.

The NIRF outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country, drawing from the overall recommendations by a Core Committee set up by MHRD, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions.
