Honda, Tapukara plant Visit by ASQ students

American Society for Quality (ASQ) organised an industrial trip for an exposure to the operations of the World-class two-wheeler Honda Plant situated in Tapukara, Alwar on 23rd Feb. 2017. With a clear vision, the ASQ- NCU team (a total of 23 students including 4 faculty) led by Prof. Ravindra Ojha (DSOET) reached the plant at 10:45 A.M and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Amit Malik (HR Asst. Mgr, HonDa). Honda has a reputation of offering the highest quality at the most reasonable price. The plant offered every learning opportunity, from Human resources to technical aspects. In accordance with 'Make in India', Honda has recently launched Honda Navi, first made in India bike. The team had a very learning exposure and lots of understanding building in the areas of assembly line technology, production planning systems, testing processes, 5S and human behaviour.

The team NCU thanked the entire Honda Team and bid them goodbye with a note to visit the University for strengthening the bond of collaboration through summer internships and projects that they can offer to our young minds.
