Collaboration between NCU & DELTA – the way forward

Delta Power Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. under its Partnership Agreement with NCU to support research and development through work-integrated learning programmes–Cooperative Education visited the University on 8 September 2017.

Mr Vimal Pandey, HR Head, Industrial Automation Business Group and Mr Anil Chaudhary, Business Development Head, Delta Electronics India Pvt. Ltd discussed on the way forward for future engagement with Pro-Chancellor Prof Prem Vrat, Prof Swaran Ahuja, Head, Dept of EECE & Dean, Academics; Col. Bikram Mohanty, Registrar and Director, SOET, NCU.

Some of the key areas for the next level of engagement were:

  • Structured & guided student internship
  • 3-4 days of intense externship for NCU faculty
  • 1-2 days Executive Development Programme/workshop for DELTA & NCU
  • Joint technical projects by students & faculty
  • Live industry based Major Projects for final year students
  • Periodic practical sessions by DELTA experts at NCU on specific areas for students/ faculty(train the trainer approach)
  • Creation of Centre of Excellence at NCU with collaboration by DELTA

This engagement will prove to be productive for the stakeholders at both ends.
