Dr Aditya Sharma has completed her PhD in Chemistry from IIT Delhi. She has pursued her doctoral research work in collaboration with National Physical Laboratory, Delhi, as a CSIR- Junior and Senior research fellow. She secured first position in Chemistry at her graduation level and was highest scorer in Organic Chemistry at IITD during her PhD.

Aditya has published seven research articles, all in SCI-indexed international journals (ACS, RSC, AIP and Elsevier publications) having an aggregate impact factor of 35.37 (open hyperlink for publications) and presented her work at international conferences. The article entitled “Nanopatterned Cadmium Selenide Langmuir–Blodgett Platform for Leukemia Detection” authored by her, has been highlighted in Nature India (doi:10.1038/nindia.2012.60) & IITD website. She is actively involved in research work and has been awarded the young scientist project from DST (under SERB scheme) to pursue her post-PhD research. She is also involved in PhD supervision of a DST-INSPIRE qualified research scholar. She is well conversant with UV-Visible & FTIR spectroscopy, Electrochemical analysis (CV, DPV and EIS), Langmuir Blodgett technique, Contact angle, Zetasizer and Gel Electrophoresis. Her areas of research interest include Biosensor development, Urinary tract infection and Cancer diagnostics.
