Round Table Conference

Club Samwad organizes a series of students to inculcate competitive spirit .This year, the club organised ‘Round Table Conference’ on 15 February, 2018 with the objective to provide a platform for the students to showcase their speaking and intellectual skills .

The round table conference took place in two rounds and the topic ‘Fearing one party state, The future of opposition’ was given to participants of the first round and ‘The Trade -off between Data Privacy and security of Aadhar card’ for the final round. Ipsa Ahuja stood first in the competition.

Altercation – The Great Debate 2018

Abhivyakt – The Debating Society hosted an intra-college debate competition, Altercation – The Great Debate, in the University campus on 6th April, 2018. The topic for the debate was “Are traditions an obstacle to the progress of Indian Society”.

The debate was lively with a plethora of arguments and counter arguments. The audience was allowed two interjections per team and the event witnessed an awesome response and great participation and interjections from the audience too.

Saloni Arora and Piyush Nayyer from School of Engineering and Technology – CSE & IT Department who emerged as winners. Noble Robinson and Rashi Shahrawat from School of Law finished a close second. The best interjections were also recognised and given a prize.
